Workflow for normal commissions: After the commission is accepted, I create an initial sketch based on what was provided. I will send this sketch for approval, and this is the main time for you to ask for revisions (see the revisions section below). if revisions are requested, i will send a revised sketch. Once the sketch is approved, I will go ahead and finish the commission.

After the initial sketch, I usually only send WIPs when I have questions about how something looks. I can send WIPs per request, but please be reasonable with how often you request an update.

the above two points do not apply to "surprise me" commissions, as they are no-contact; no sketches will be sent, and no revisions will be accepted.

I reserve the right to refuse any commission for any reason without explanation.

visual references are required for original characters/sonas. i will not accept just a written description.

You may post your commission, but you must credit me somewhere on the post (@shoutemi on twitter/x, instagram, vgen).

all of my commissions are for personal use only. i do not offer any commercial use options at this time.

usage of your commission for AI, machine learning, or blockchain-related technology, including NFTs and cryptocurrency, is strictly prohibited.

payment will be done via the options offered through Vgen. prices are listed in USD.

full payments must be made up front. i do not start working until i receive the full payment.

tips are welcome but entirely optional!

Significant revision requests after the sketch has been approved (including but not limited to: whole pose, outfit, and composition changes) are subject to additional revision fees. you will either agree to pay the proposed fee to have the change made or the piece will be left as is for no additional cost. the fee amount depends on the complexity of the change. i do not accept significant changes after the commission is finalized.

tldr of the last point: if you want something changed, i highly recommend you mention it to me when i send the initial sketch!

revisions are not available for "surprise me" style commissions.

i try to finish within 1 month (~30 days) maximum, but due to life circumstances and workload, it may take longer. i will always update you if i feel like it will take longer than a month for me to finish!

if you have a deadline in mind, you must let me know at least 2 weeks ahead of the deadline. if you let me know too late, I cannot guarantee it will be done in time. :(

delivery of the final piece will be digital, in the form of a link to a google drive folder with the files so you can download them.

full refunds are available before I begin & during the sketch, but no refunds are available after approval of the sketch. EXCeption: if I can't complete your commission due to issues on my part, I will issue a full refund no matter what stage I'm at.

note: there are no refunds for "surprise me" commissions.

I reserve the right to use the commission in portfolios, posts, advertising, etc. If you don't want your commission posted, or if you don't want to be tagged if I do post it, please let me know! i watermark all commission work that gets posted or shared in portfolios.

you (the client) may post/share the commission as long as you clearly credit me in some form. all of my commissions are for personal use, so any commercial use of my work is prohibited.
